Energy Bites

Need a morning or afternoon pick me up? Check out the Energy Bites at the Cafe or try making them at home yourself!

Energy Bites:

  • 1 cup peanut butter or almond butter1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup raisins or craisins
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips optional
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup flax seed, chia seed

Mix all together. Scoop tsp size balls to parchment on baking sheet. Roll into 1" balls. Freeze or refrigerate enough to handle and pack in zip lock bag. Store in refrigerator or freezer.

Optional additions:  Dried cherries, apricots, pumpkin seeds. Use your imagination. You can find many recipes on the internet for those who cannot have peanut butter or for variations. ENJOY!
