TR2: Teen Room Rec: (Grades 5-8)
Teen Room Rec is an opportunity for YMCA youth members to participate in semi-structured activities after school. This program is geared for students who can make independent, positive choices while at the YMCA under little to no supervision. For more information on registration, please stop at Member Services.
Daily Rate: $4.50
Activities may include:
• Homework Help
• Teen Room Activities
• Gym Activities
• Rock Wall Challenges
• Evening Registered Classes Offered
Schedule: Time will begin at 3:30 p.m. when students arrive at the Y after school in the Teen Room.
Transportation: Available from Silver Lake and Nature Hill Middle Schools to the YMCA. (Limited seating.)

Got nothing to do on your day off of school? Join us for some fun trips this school year! All trips meet at the YMCA Teen Room by 8:00 am and will return to the YMCA by 4:00 pm unless otherwise stated. Bring a lunch. Grades grouped separately.

NEW! Girls With a Purpose: (Grades 5-8)
Calling all young ladies! This unique program will encourage, surprise and energize you! This is a celebration of YOU and the awesome plans God has for you! We’ll have fun activities that will challenge you, excite you and make you laugh!
Meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month, 6 - 7:30 pm

Teen Leaders Club: (Grades 7-12)
Join the top teen leaders in our community! It’s all about meeting new friends, gaining new skills and helping others through monthly service projects. Teen-led meetings focus on leadership skills, team building, and coordinating service projects. Leaders have the opportunity to travel to Regional Rallies and Leaders School. Meetings are held 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month.

NEW! Y-Pal Mentoring Program: (Ages 16+)
Make a difference in the life of a child by becoming a Y-Pal Mentor. Y-Pals share their free time with youth for 3 hours each week through planned activities at the YMCA. Activities can include taking a class together, working out, hanging out in the Youth & Teen Room, or playing games in the gym! Y-Pals are grouped together based on interests, personality, and time availability.
