Miracle Field / League

MIRACLE LEAGUE:

The rules are simple:
Everyone hits. Everyone gets on base. Everyone crosses home plate.

The Miracle League of the YMCA at Pabst Farms gives kids ages 4+ with varying abilities the opportunity to get off the bench and get onto the field to enjoy the game of baseball. Athletes with cognitive and/or physical disabilities are invited to join us to play on a custom-designed field featuring a cushioned, rubberized, completely flat surface, helping to erase barriers to recreation. All areas of the field, including the dugouts and changing rooms, are accessible.

MIRACLE LEAGUE:
Tuesdays, beginning May 21
Ages 4-10, Ages 11-19 and Ages 20
Practice times will vary (between the hours of 4:30 and 7:30 pm), based on athlete registration.
$45 (per athlete)

"BUDDY" PROGRAM:

One of the most important elements of a Miracle League game is the “buddy” program. Each player is paired with a friend to assist them on and off the field during a two inning game. Player buddies must be 14 years or older. We ask that all interested applicants commit to the season to volunteer.
