AOA Drop-in classes included in membership!

TWICE THE FUN ON TUESDAY:
STARTING FEBRUARY 20TH

Join us on Tuesdays beginning February 20th for an afternoon full of fun.
Start out in our Aqua Fitness class and then wrap up the day with our
NEW! T3 class, Trim, Tone and Tighten. Come to one or both!
No registration required. FREE TO Y MEMBERS!

AQUA FITNESS     12:30-1:15pm
Cardiovascular fitness, strength and flexibility will be challenged with exercises designed to ease demands of everyday living. Low to moderately high fitness levels are accommodated.

T3: TRIM, TONE and TIGHTEN     1:30-2:00pm
Emphasis on strength and flexibility using a chair and standing to do exercises. Low to moderately high fitness levels are accommodated.

 

AOA CARDIO FITNESS:

A low intensity cardio workout followed by strength and flexibility that includes floor exercises. Participants should be able to get up and down from the floor.

SIT TO BE FIT:

Improve fitness while sitting and using your chair for support. Includes stretching, aerobic exercise and strengthening while utilizing hand weights, resistance bands and exercise balls. Beginner to moderately-high fitness levels are accommodated. Y Member FREE

CHAIR YOGA:

A new class to practice yoga while sitting and using your chair for support. Improve muscle tone and balance, all while learning better breathing techniques and reducing stress. This class is ideal for everyone including those with health restrictions, decreased range of motion or physical challenges.

AOA YOGA:

Gentle flow for those who have unique health challenges and may experience tight and weak muscles. Learn simple exercises to improve range of motion, muscle strength, endurance and flexibility.

SPRING

AOA PILATES:

Keeping fit and mobile is essential, especially for seniors. As we get older, healthy movements can help with balance, stability, control and overall fitness. Class is tailored for the active older adult with participants needing to be able to get up and down off of floor safely.

ZUMBA GOLD:

Zumba Gold uses the same dance moves as the original Zumba class with less intense dance routines designed for beginners and older adults. The longer warm up and cool down allows participants to improve balance, flexibility and cardiovascular strength. Perfect for anyone just beginning a fitness program.

PARKINSON’S EXERCISE:

An exercise group for individuals with Parkinson’s disease designed and led by Aurora physical therapists and fitness coaches. The class focuses on flexibility, balance, strength, vocalizations and posture. Participants must obtain medical clearance and be evaluated by class instructors prior to enrollment.

Classes held at the Life Enrichment Center,
1305 W. Wisconsin Ave, Oconomowoc

AOA CARDIO FITNESS:
A low-impact workout that works on flexibility, strength and balance. Classes are designed to improve one’s energy, endurance and quality of life.
