Flyers Running Club
This club consists of two sub-groups: a casual running group and a road racing team. Both groups have opportunities for workouts on Tuesdays and Thursdays with the option of either 9:00 am or 6:30 pm and Saturday long runs at 7:00 am. Road racers will be guided through periodized training plans to prepare for races of various distances between April and October. Casual runners will be provided with running routes, taught how to be a more efficient runner and will enjoy the camaraderie of new running partners. The Flyers meet Thursday evenings only through the winter for running-specific strength and core work. The yearly fee covers experienced coaching, weekly workouts, well-designed training plans and a Flyers Running Club shirt. All Flyers receive a FREE V02 Sub Max Cardio Fitness test!
