BUILDING SPEED/STRENGTH FOR TEENS:
We’ll combine progressive speed/agility drills with circuit style strength training to help promote efficient movement patterns, improved cardio fitness, improved joint stability, increased strength and help prevent muscle imbalances during this important growth period. Upon successful completion of this program, 13-15 year-olds will have access to the Wellness Center without an orientation, as it is built into this class’s curriculum.
Tuesday/Thursday, 4:15-5:15 pm

Make it a family affair! While you’re attending your favorite group exercise class or working out in the Wellness Center, your 8-12 year-old can attend the BRAND NEW kid interval class. This fun, functional, interval style class is guaranteed to burn off your child’s energy in a structured, supervised environment. The instructor will ensure proper muscle movement patterns and use of equipment, as well as build their confidence in their individual athleticism.
WEDNESDAY - 4:00-4:45 pm in the Mind Body Studio
SUNDAY - 12:45-1:30 pm in the gym on Court 4

Designed as off-season training for the track athlete. We will work on agility training, strength and core work and have a high(er) intensity group cardio workout. Learn how to be a better, more efficient runner and lay a strong foundation of fitness

YOUTH CARDIO PRIVILEGES:
7-12 yr old: May use track, with parent/guardian.
10-12 yr old: Welcome to use select cardio equipment with an adult next to them after signing the Wellness Center Policy Agreement. Check in/out is required at the Wellness Center Desk. Take free Group Exercise classes with a parent. Cycling classes not included.
13-15 yr old: Allowed to use the Wellness Center alone after orientation and PAR-Q is filled out and signed by a parent. Can also use Free Weight area after an additional free weight training orientation. Group exercise classes also available to this age group.
16+ year old: Access to the entire Wellness Center.
