YMCA & Gals Institute are partnering this fall to host girls self-esteem building sessions that will give girls tips and tools to building confidence and resilience to empower them.

Grow as a leader while giving back to the community. All leaders will work together in social outreach and community service projects. Learn leadership and life skills to help succeed in high school, college, work and life. You will also help make decisions about Y programs for teens! (Min. 5)

2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month
6:00 - 7:30 pm
$40/school year (join anytime)



(Grades 7-12)
Do you like politics, debate and meeting other dedicated and passionate teens from all over the state? YIG provides teenagers a chance to develop their public speaking skills, craft bills, argue court cases and make their voices heard all the way to Madison! Participants will have the opportunity to express themselves through joining the legislature, supreme court or press corp! We’ll even “take over” the State Capitol building in the spring. YOU MAKE THE RULES!

1st and 3rd Thursdayof the month
5:00-6:30 pm

(runs September - March)
FEE $240 Y Member • $260 CP
Payment Plan available: $60/mo (Oct- Jan)

Add’l fees: Approx. $3 pre-government
meeting meal, $50 for 2-night trip to
State Capitol, add’l food and spending money.
